Earle B. Higgins

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Earle B. Higgins Sr. has over 32 years of experience in the automotive industry. His professional background includes more than 30-plus years in managerial and superintendent assignments at Chrysler Corporation North American Operations (NAO). Higgins' assignments have emphasized leadership, innovation, building and leveraging relationships, driving results, teamwork, and goal accomplishment, and demonstrating personal excellence. His experiences have provided him maximum exposure to essential executives and contacts throughout the automotive industry.

Higgins earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Behavior and Language Arts from Eastern Michigan University.

Wayne Chan

Chief Financial Officer

Wayne Chan has over 24 years of experience in the financial sector. His financial expertise is derived from his banking years, where he consulted and guided businesses across various industries, from start-ups to buy­outs. Chan also has entrepreneur experience as he heads a consulting practice helping clients with financial challenges and finding capital. With his passion for helping businesses succeed and thinking outside of the box, Chan is excited to be part of Pro-Tech Group as its patented container system will revolutionize the way multiple industries ship products.

Chan holds a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.

Jimmie Comer

Chief Operations Officer

Jim Comer is the founder and sole owner of Comer Holdings, LLC, a company that served as the majority partner of two joint venture companies with Lear Corporation, Integrated Manufacturing & Assembly LLC, and Greenfield Holdings LLC. Prior to establishing Comer Holdings, Comer was president of the North American Joint Ventures and Diversity at Lear Corporation where he was responsible for supporting the growth and development of Lear's minority joint ventures and supplier diversity activities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He oversaw the company's diversity-related initiatives for employees and Lear's support to the community.

Comer joined Lear as director of quality and later became the vice president of global quality. He also held several key management positions including vice president of the components division and manufacturing where he used his extensive experience in production launches and quality management. Prior to his tenure at Lear, Comer worked as a quality manager at Mazda Corporation and held several quality and manufacturing positions including superintendent of quality/inspection for General Motors.

Comer holds a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University.

Jeff Grandstaff

Partnering Advisor

Jeffrey J. Grandstaff has over 30 years of experience in automotive logistics management. His company Gold Star Resources, LLC, specializes in logistics, process and technology consultations.

Grandstaff spent most of career leading new vehicle haul-away carrier (truck) operations, sales and marketing for Ryder and Allied. Starting as frontline supervisor, he eventually progressed to manage a large OEM account in North America.

Over the course of the last 16 years, Grandstaff helped kickstart Insight Network Logistics, a 3PL, devoted to optimizing new vehicle movements from plants and ports to dealerships and ShipCarsNow, a rail centric, multi-modal transportation brokerage, moving new and used vehicles for a variety of key accounts. Both companies were wholly owned subsidiaries of the Union Pacific Railroad.

Grandstaff holds a bachelor's degree from Capital University and a professional certification in logistics from the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute.
